Renate recommends that her clients include some form of stretching–at least a few minutes each day–as part of their health maintenance routine. Stretching, Pilates, and Yoga resonate well with Structural Integration work. Chi Gong or Tai Chi, while not directly stretching your body, improve body awareness and help your alignment with gravity.
Renate practiced and studied yoga for many years and enjoyed it even more after her Structural Integration work. She completed yoga teacher training at Avalon Yoga (200 hours) and yin yoga teacher training with Paul Grilley and Sarah Powers (100 hours). Renate is certified by the Yoga Alliance and has continued her education to better be able to show her clients stretches that assist with release of chronically tightened tissue.
