What Does it Cost?

Structural Integration costsĀ  more than a massage because of the time SI practitioners spend in training. Renate’s education to become a practitioner lasted over a year and included six months of on-site, full-time training at the Guild for Structural Integration.

In the Bay Area, sessions range from $110 to $180 for a 90 minute session. Renate keeps her price toward the lower end of that range. Renate allocates 90 minutes for each session, and more for the first at no extra charge. Students and seniors on a fixed income can ask for a discount.

Will My Insurance Pay?

Some insurance companies pay for Structural Integration (which is billed as Myofascial Release) for certain medical conditions such as chronic problems resulting from an accident. Renate does not bill insurances directly but can provide receipts with the appropriate diagnosis and treatment code.

Many of Renate’s clients submit receipts, together with a letter from their physician, to their flexible spending account.
